Lo Siento, barcelona design studio

Lo Siento, studio de design à Barcelone

I recently visited Barcelona, which is a very inspiring city for a designer. One evening I was looking for a typical tapas restaurant in the old streets of the city and I stumbled on the restaurant Bar Brutal, which has a great visual identity, with wide letterings painted on windows. Eventually I ate in another place but back at home I looked for the creator of this nice graphic design work and I discovered Lo Siento, a design studio full of character.

We can feel this approach in her portfolio too, which has a nice graphic identity using simple shapes and pictures.

Music Video : Caffeine by Brandt Braueur Frick realised by Danae Diaz and Patricia Luna

It's a beautiful hand-drawn style music video that Danae Diaz (spanish graphic designer located in Berlin) and Patricia Luna (russian graphic designer working in Barcelona) realised to illustrate the music 'Caffeine' by Brand Braueur Frick. A kafkaian atmosphere in which robotic workers are endless repeating same gestures, same paths, symbolised by graphic elements from the urban work world like elevators, automatic doors, traffic lights... Even if a strange and stressing atmosphere is conveyed, I find it's perfectly adapted to the music. The end of the film is a bit strange and mysterious, if someone has an interpretation feel free to share it in the comments ! www.danaediaz.com

Atipus, graphic and package design

Located in Barcelona, Spain, since 1998, Atipus is a graphic design, package design and web design studio. Even if the agency works for companies, institutions or associations, I think their most beautiful works are package design (particularly for wine bottles) and editorial design (particularly for corporate annual reports). A sobre, clean and very well working style, to discover in the rest of the article !
