The best style is no style : illustrations by Sachin Teng

"The best style is no style" - Bruce Lee
This quotation is from the little bio page of the website of Sachin Teng, and I find it perfectly sums up his style. His illustrations, very dynamic and colourful, are a mix up of influences in which you can find an asian aspect, but american inspirations too (maybe comics particularly), and even traditionnal painting and illustration. Some of his artworks are very close to the graphic design, with abstract shapes (sometimes QR codes) contrasting with the textures and sharpness of hand drawing.

Anatomic illustrations by Wataru Yoshida

Wataru Yoshida is a young japanese artist and graphic designer based in Tokyo. Through his work he creates a very personnal style using hand drawing, superimposition and high contrasts between coloured shapes and black lines. His illustration series called "Body>" is designed as a reflexion on the complexity and the structures of human body. To achieve it he mixes anatomic drawings with objects like ashtrays, cogwheels or clocks, giving his work a more artistic side. Wataru Yoshida works in some other fields too, like design with a concept of a shopping bag, or a clock.

Feilung Feilung, between fashion and graphic design

Honestly, I can't tell you a lot about Feilun Feilung, and I'm not even sure if it is a real name or just a pseudonym. Anyway, the Behance page matching this taïwanese artist is full of visually interesting projects. Often fashion related, he realises very original accessories or clothes, with a graphic look. I find something very atypical in these works, often based on white backgrounds and simple layouts, but full of details and unexpected textures. The approach of human body is really unusual too, with distortions, recompositions...
