Lisa Fleck is a graphic designer and photographer based in Stockholm, Sweden. She's got a lot of skills, and her typography, graphic design and photography works are all interesting and inspiring. I particularly noticed her edition works for the Design Forum Vienna which seems amazing.
Simon Ålander is a 24 years old swedish graphic designer passionate about typography and lettering. He finds inspiration into music, graffiti (which have a lot in common with typography) and the streetwear culture. His universe has also a little vintage influence, with some characters reminding 30's or 70's letterings. Anyway, the pictures are really beautiful and there is a great graphic variety inside.
Lundgren+Lindqvist is a swedish design bureau based in Gothenburg. They mainly work on branding, including logotype design, graphic charts, printed or web communication tools, and even illustration. Even if the team is intentionally small, the bureau works with a large network of co-workers, including motion designers, copywriters and some very talented photographers.
Their productions are characterized by a minimalistic approach of design, and a high consistency into a whole project. Brandings they create often plays with two or three colours, with geometrics shapes and a rationnal use of typography and layout grids.

Sarah Vajira Lindström est une graphiste travaillant dans l’univers du textile. Ayant fait ses études à Londres puis en Suède, elle développe une approche expérimentale du graphisme en explorant les formes et les couleurs de manière plus abstraite que figurative, inventant une grande variété de textures, de formes et de motifs. Jouant avec les contrastes, les couleurs et les matières, elle réalise de très belles images graphiques, dont vous pourrez découvrir quelques exemples dans la suite de cet article.
Seung Ho Henrik est un de ces artistes qui vous créent un avion de toutes pièces (ou plutôt de tous pixels) ou encore une ville antique telle qu’on pouvait la contempler il y a 3000 ans. Du concept art de très haut niveau pour cet illustrateur suédois qui a participé entre autres aux films Harry Potter, Star Wars, Sweeney Todd ou encore Sunshine, et qui a travaillé pour des marques comme Pepsi, Adidas, Volvo, Sony... Des images assez impressionnantes dans la suite et sur son portfolio en ligne !
Une découverte qui met de bonne humeur avec les illustrations de l’artiste suédois Mattias Adolfsson. Il a revisité l’univers mythique de Star Wars d’une façon inattendue, en lui appliquant les codes esthétiques de l’art Baroque, le tout avec beaucoup d’humour et une certaine poésie. Une sorte de caricature que je vois comme un hommage à la saga de George Lucas. Ces travaux me font par ailleurs énormément penser à la bande dessinée française Donjon de Sfar et Trondheim (et bien d’autres...), à la fois par le côté décalé et humoristique, et à la fois par le traitement graphique. A voir absolument !
