Born in Poland, Marek Okon studied in Toronto, Canada, before leaving for Japan in order to work as an Art Director for Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo. He works for a wide range of clients, and his special interest for motion graphics and digital design allow him to work on video projects as well as illustrations or print design. A very original graphic language, with a lot of varied influences giving it a great visual richness.
Blanq is an agency based in Taïwan. It bands together talented people from different fields and works for design, artistic direction or identity projects. Their works have a strong artistic approach, with a real visual search. Very creative pictures which play sometimes on the fields of fashion or art.
It's a beautiful hand-drawn style music video that Danae Diaz (spanish graphic designer located in Berlin) and Patricia Luna (russian graphic designer working in Barcelona) realised to illustrate the music 'Caffeine' by Brand Braueur Frick. A kafkaian atmosphere in which robotic workers are endless repeating same gestures, same paths, symbolised by graphic elements from the urban work world like elevators, automatic doors, traffic lights... Even if a strange and stressing atmosphere is conveyed, I find it's perfectly adapted to the music. The end of the film is a bit strange and mysterious, if someone has an interpretation feel free to share it in the comments !

Polyester Studio is a multidisciplinary design studio located in Toronto, Canada. If a large part of their works are motion graphics centered, the studio's portfolio shows nice works in the fields of identity, illustration and graphic design. There is an outstanding rough and original aspect in their works, which is brought by bright colours, intricate graphics and original typography choices.

Honestly, I can't tell you a lot about Feilun Feilung, and I'm not even sure if it is a real name or just a pseudonym. Anyway, the Behance page matching this taïwanese artist is full of visually interesting projects. Often fashion related, he realises very original accessories or clothes, with a graphic look. I find something very atypical in these works, often based on white backgrounds and simple layouts, but full of details and unexpected textures. The approach of human body is really unusual too, with distortions, recompositions...

Maternelle est un court métrage d’animation de fin d’études réalisé par quatre étudiants de l’école Georges Melies. Mélangeant animation traditionnelle en 2D et animation 3D, il plonge le spectateur dans l’angoisse d’un enfant lors de sa première rentrée à l’école. Même si je n’adhère pas forcément à toute l’animation (notamment le cerné un peu fort autour des personnages), le film a le mérite de créer une ambiance vraiment étrange et inquiétante, rappelant un peu certains films de Satoshi Kon.
