At start the idea was to create a music video inspired by the 80's movies, with a lot of references like Drive by Winding Refn, Mulholland Drive by Lynch or also Death Proof by Tarantino. To get the atmosphere, the rythm and the frames of these movies, the director firstly edited selected scenes from them with the music, with the help of Manuel Coutant.
This first edit give Maxime Bruneel compositions and timing to work on the animation. Prefering a real animation work to rotoscopy (that often give a cold and strict rendering), he chose to design the video on Flash, playing with large tint areas. A very dynamic music video, with acid colors and great post-production effects, giving the right atmosphere (even if personally it recalls me Drive more than 80's movies).
